Babysitter Training

Tuesday & ThursdayAugust 13 & 15
12:30 -3:30 pm
Must attend both days.

Ages 10-15

Ms. Donna will lead students through a day of training which
will give them knowledge and skills to be a strong babysitter.
This class will cover:
• Making sure the environment is safe. • Child safety
• Planning games and activities • Food preparation
• Changing diapers • Decision making.
Please bring a baby doll, lunch, and a water bottle

Dancing Feet Intro To Dance with Sue Benjamin

 

Taping Toes – Learn to Tap Dance
Thursdays, September 12- October 17
K-Grade 2 | 4:00-4:30pm         Grade 3 -5 | 4:30 -5:00pm
This fun atmosphere will provide an introduction to tap.
Learn tap steps individually,build your skills and work on
choreographed pieces set to Music.
Tap dance is a great way to develop balance and coordination!
Please wear hair pulled back. Tap shoes are readily available at
retailers such as Walmart and Target and online

Dancing Feet – All That Jazz
Thursdays,  September 12 – October 17
K-Grade 2 | 6:00-6:30pm      Grade 3 -5 | 6:30 -7:00pm
Jazz dancing is energetic and fun, consisting of unique moves, fancy
footwork, big leaps and quick turns.
Students in our beginner classes will begin with floor exercises and
build into choreographed pieces to popular music.
Please register no later than September 5.

Dancing Feet – Ballet For Beginners
Thursdays,  September 12 – October 17
K-Grade 2 | 5:00-5:30pm Grade 3 -5 | 5:30 -6:00pm
Learn basic to intermediate ballet positions.
Learn to work at the barre, learn to work across the floor.
Learn choreographed pieces to music and perform them.
Please wear a leotard or shorts, ballet slippers and
hair pulled back. Ballet shoes are readily available
at retailers such as Walmart and Target and online.
Please register no later than September 5.

Movement With Friends
Ages 3 -5
Saturdays, September 7- October 12
9:30 -10:00am
Come play, dance, giggle and move in this
caregiver and 3/4 year old movement class.

Creative Kitchen Fun

Pre School- Creative Kitchens For Kids
Ages 4-6
Monday, October 14 | 9am -12pm
Join miss Lori in the kitchen and explore
everyone’s fall favorite – apples! We will learn about how to follow recipes and keep our kitchen clean while learning creative ways to use apples.
participants will help to create Apple toast, apple ladybugs, Carmel apple tops and apple sandwiches.

Creative Kitchens For Kids
Ages 7-11
Monday, October 14 | 1-4pm
Everyone loves apples, join miss Angel in out kitchen and explore using apples for a snack and desert.
We will learn about kitchen cleanliness, Prep for cooking, how to read recipes, cooking chemistry and following directions.
We will make apple enchiladas, Learn how to use apple sauce as a substitute, create apple nachos and an apple pudding to take home and bake.

Basic Skills Ice  Skating

Skaneateles & Auburn Y members
are eligible for one FREE year of Basic Skills Skating lessons.
All skaters must be members of US Learn to Skate – $18
The Skaneateles Figure Skating Club and the YMCA have joined
forces to offer FREE Learn to Skate 1st year lessons with a YMCA
membership.A great introduction to recreational, figure and hockey
skating.
Second-year lessons and beyond, pay a fee for Learn to Skate.
All Skaters must hold a current USFS Learn to Skate registration, valid July 1 – June 30 each year
