Dear Families,
I am so excited to be your Camp Director for another great summer at Camp Y-Owasco! Here at the Auburn YMCA-WEIU and Camp Y-Owasco, we know that this year has been challenging for everyone, but especially for our youth. Between limited interaction with peers, numerous activities canceled, and increased screen time-I cannot think of any place better for a kid to be this summer than camp. While at camp, your children will get to socialize with their peers and make friendships in a safe and caring environment. They will also get to learn about and experience the beautiful and diverse landscape of Owasco Lake. At Camp Y-Owasco, we believe in the power of positive role models and our staff know that the 5 most important things about camp are the kids, the kids, the kids, the kids, and the kids. Our staff will teach your children new skills to stay healthy and grow in confidence and guide them to discover the best version of themselves so that they can use those gifts to make the world a better place.
