Facilities at Skaneateles YMCA

Not many Y’s across the country can boast they have ice facilities, we are pleased to share two state of the art ice arenas with our membership and the greater community. Welcome to our premier quality all-season NHL size ice rinks with seamless glass for ease of viewing! We offer daily recreational skating opportunities as well as regularly scheduled skate ‘n’ shoot -sessions for hockey players to practice their skills in full gear, and open freestyle sessions for figure skaters! New to skating? No worries, we have rentals and free ice walkers to get you started. We also offer Basic Skills skating lessons for members and private/semi-private lessons to help tweak technique!
We operate both rinks seasonally and always maintain at least one rink throughout the year.  There is no offseason! 

With two ice rinks, we are able to host adult open hockey for men and women, learn to play hockey for adults, youth hockey development clinics, learn to skate programs, league play for adult and youth players And birthday parties. Ice is also available for private rentals. Our rinks are home ice to the Skaneateles Central School Varsity Boys& Girls Hockey teams as well as the Skaneateles Youth Hockey Association the Skaneateles Figure Skating Club, CNY Sled Hockey and Summer Freeze, our own all CNY summer youth hockey league.

Drop-in for Open Basketball, pickleball, and open volleyball. Our gymnasium was built in 2016 and currently is home to numerous youth sports programs as well as adult volleyball league, pickleball tournaments and more.

MARY H SODERBERG AQUATIC CENTER

Our multiple bodies of water meet the leisure and competitive needs for all abilities. Enjoy a leisurely

swim, a soak in the spa bring the kids for a day in the water fountains or race down the water slide! We have

birthday parties too! Here you will find swim lessons, Water aerobics, and water Zumba®, Masters swimming, lap swimming,

springboard diving and competitive swimming clinics, aquatic certifications including lifeguarding.

Competition Pool:  25 yard. eight-lane pool is maintained at an

average of 81º and ranges from 4 -13ft and includes

a diving board.

Zero entry – Leisure Pool A maximum of 4 1/2 feet depth combined with a zero-entry walk-in makes

this pool accessible for children, seniors and individuals who have trouble navigating a deeper entry.

Water Slide and Plunge Pool and Waterworks Our aquatic center is home to a two-story twisty slide which enters into a

warm 86º plunge pool. Waterworks is a water fun playground located in the leisure pool.

The 10 person spa is located on the pool deck behind

the twisty slide is maintained at a toasty 101º

Our state of the art fitness center boasts a weight circuit, cardio equipment, and free weights,
open to our membership for use anytime the Y is open.
We also have two group exercise rooms and a cycling studio.
